Cantine La Pergola

La Pergola is the name of an italian vineyard that exports his wine all over the world. A brand born from a winegrowers’ cooperative with the aim to coltivate and produce organic wines on Garda Lake in the Valtènesi and Lugana Terroir. I helped them to develop a new brand able to compete at an high level as in the local as in the global market. The process has lead, after a first marketing analysis and the study of the brand’s market positioning, to a new name, a new brand and claim.

The name “Cantine La Pergola” come from the locality where the old cellar was founded in Moniga on Garda Lake. We have decided to restore this name to underline the origin. In Italy a “pergola” is a typically a place where in sommer people like to eat and enjoy a fresh glass of wine, but it’s also the name of a way to cultivate grapes.

The goals were to create a brand capable to bring together tradition and modernity, and at the same time to emphasize the territorial peculiarity and the worth of the organic production. This wines are a complex result of the human work, the local microclimate, the organic production: a perfect balance of natural elements.

The wine’s collection is characterized by a range of symbols those are by the Fibonacci sequenceand the golden section inspired, described also as the mathematic of nature, because appears in many natural elements as a pattern of shapes.
